Flock Safety filed to install one solar-powered license-plate-reading (LPR) camera and Flock pole for LMPD near 5240 Bardstown Rd on the north side of Bardstown Road between Del Maria Way and S Hurstborne Parkway, with techs planning to park on the shoulder and a small 2x2 street cut noted. The site is owned by Giles Louisville Owners LLC and the work was originally scheduled for Sept. 12–Oct. 17, 2025 with a site-specific traffic control and restoration plan, but the encroachment permit was withdrawn pending a Kentucky Transportation Cabinet permit — the applicant plans to reapply.
