9824 3RD STREET RD encroachment permit withdrawn for ALPR installation

Flock Safety, on behalf of the Louisville Metro Police Department, proposed installing a 12-foot, solar-powered ALPR camera at 3rd Street Road @ Stonestreet (9824 3rd Street Rd) on property owned by Nancy F. Suell. The plan called for an 8" x 36" dirt hole (work van parked off-street, no lane or sidewalk impacts) with cleanup afterward, work was slated for Feb. 12–26, 2025, but the encroachment permit was withdrawn in May with a note that Flock would close this application and resubmit.
