716 S Hancock St Encroachment Permit Withdrawn for ALPR Camera Installation

Flock Safety filed to install one solar-powered ALPR (license-plate reading) camera on behalf of Louisville Metro Police Department at 716 S Hancock St, on property owned by Louisville Metro Housing Authority. The plan called for digging an 8" x 36" hole, installing a 12' Flock pole and camera, parking the work van off-street, and leaving sidewalks and lanes unaffected with crews removing excess debris after work. The application, which listed a February 12–26, 2025 work window, was later withdrawn with a note that the company would resubmit a revised request.
