601 W Market Street encroachment permit issued for ALPR camera installation

Flock Safety is installing one solar-powered ALPR (license-plate-reading) camera for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office at 601 W Market St. The Parking Authority Of River City Inc owns the location, and the camera will be mounted to the existing traffic-signal pole on the southwest corner of S 6th St and W Market St, using the sidewalk and curb lane for access while the work van parks off-street. Applicant Melinda Calderon notes there’s no excavation or restoration required, no lane or sidewalk closures, and the short job is scheduled between 8/20/2024 and 9/20/2024.
