2501 W Muhammad Ali Blvd applied for an Accessible Parking Zone

Patricia Lyons has filed an Accessible Parking Zone Application requesting a handicapped street-parking sign in front of 2501 W Muhammad Ali Blvd. The property is owned by Taneisha Barger, and Lyons says the nearby Bourgard Music School — now home to a Catholic school — brings about 10 cars a day so she often has to park several houses away; at nearly 70 she uses a walker or cane, has a handicapped placard in her daughter’s car (Placard #48-182047), and wants a sign to shorten the walk after a recent fall.
