Resident says left turns are risky at Duke University Road and Anderson Street
Westbound on Duke University Road at 5:15 PM near Anderson Street, one resident says the new light leaves drivers staring into the setting sun while waiting for a protected left that never comes.
They say the arrow sits on flashing yellow, then stays there for one or two cycles, which has them choosing between waiting it out or making a risky turn. “This is CRAZY” the resident wrote.
The city marked the report received.
