Drivers report a confusing left turn signal at 700 E Lawson St in Durham

That traffic signal near 700 E Lawson St is giving drivers the side-eye, if one resident’s account is right.
They say the eastbound light has an advance green for left turns, but no dedicated left-arrow, and that’s been confusing folks at E. Lawson Street and Lincoln Street, especially NCCU shuttles, students, pedestrians, and neighbors trying to get through.

The city marked the request completed. That means the request is closed out, not that the light got a brand-new arrow.
