A resident says the right lane ends with no warning at 4717 Hope Valley Rd
That right lane on Hope Valley Rd near Woodcroft Parkway sounds like a little surprise party for drivers. One resident says it ends with “no indication” until you’re almost at the light, and calls the whole thing a steady source of back ups and confusion.
They also say the street hasn’t been repaved in decades, which would explain why the lane markings are fading into the pavement’s little disappearing act. Durham has the request in hand.
