A resident says bike symbols are missing at 898 Martin Luther King Jr Pkwy

Bicyclists near 898 Martin Luther King Jr Pkwy may be stuck guessing where to stand at the Cook Road intersection. One resident says the new resurfacing and temporary paint left out the old bike symbols that helped trigger the signal on the southwest side.

The resident says they want temporary, then permanent, markings for both the straight right and left turn lanes. “Please provide temporary (then permanent) markings” they wrote, and that’s the whole ask.
