Resident says tow-away signs are up along W Wellwater Ave in Durham

Tow-away signs near W Wellwater Ave in Durham have a neighbor asking who put them there. One resident says the Sherron Farms HOA has signs up along or next to the city street, and the signs warn that “illegally parked or unauthorized vehicles will be towed”.

They’re asking the city to sort out whether those signs sit in the public right-of-way, whether the HOA has the city's green light to keep them there, and whether calling it a private “tow away zone” even flies. The city marked the request completed.
