Umami Buffet at 5362 Dixie Hwy has a sewage leak and warm food
UMAMI BUFFET at 5362 Dixie Hwy in Louisville failed a health inspection, and the list was a messy one.
Inspectors noted a leak on the hand sink drain line, food sitting too warm, unlabeled bulk food, wet cloths left out, raw chicken stored over raw beef and shrimp, and a reach-in cooler in the hibachi area not keeping temperature where it should. Garlic and oil mixture, ground meat, sausage, house-made sauce, shell eggs, and keep-refrigerated cheese all had to be tossed, and there were loose tiles, uncovered food bins, and debris on equipment too.
