10629 Black Iron Rd Zoning Enforcement on billboard sign noncompliance

Property owner Chris Thieneman has installed a large 8 ft by 4 ft (32 sq ft) billboard-style sign on the lot at 10629 Black Iron Rd, planted at the corner of Long Home Rd and Bardstown Rd where it’s easily seen from Bardstown. The sign sits inside a residential area and appears to run afoul of the Land Development Code’s rules for on‑premises residential signage (LDC Chapter 8), so zoning staff are investigating whether it complies and if any permits or approvals were obtained.
