1000 GOSS AVE opened for light-pollution code violation

FAP Properties LLC, owner of 1000 Goss Ave, is the subject of an open property-maintenance complaint alleging that bright exterior lights at the Hauks property are being turned on at night—supposedly to respond to noise—and shine across the backs of homes toward Hickory Street. Neighbors say the lights (mounted to an outbuilding) flood four yards of backyards, a photo is attached, and one resident even installed screen netting to block the glare while claiming the lighting violates the city’s rules on light pollution.
