3603 Shannon Run Trl: Open code violation for Tree of Heaven near pole

Owner Melissa Leigh has an open property-maintenance case at 3603 Shannon Run Trail after a large Tree of Heaven (Ailanthus altissima) — an invasive species — sprouted up on the shared property line next to a public sewer drainage and an electrical pole. Now about 30-plus feet tall and tangled in poison ivy and brush, the tree is drooping toward the street and beginning to encroach on electrical cables, creating visibility and safety concerns for neighbors, one of whom is elderly and unable to tackle the overgrowth.
