405 University Ave opened Property Maintenance Case for dangerous dead tree

Owner Emily Oldham at 405 University Ave is the subject of a property-maintenance complaint after a neighboring tree reportedly fell onto the garage and courtyard next door at 403 University Ave. The complaint, filed by Lisa Romans on behalf of her parents Mike & Pat Adams, says the tree had been reported for removal in 2008, fell on a Saturday leaving them blocked in (they’ve contacted insurance), and that another dead tree still stands — a serious safety worry for the couple in their 80s. The city has opened a Property Maintenance case that’s currently active with site visits planned to address removal and safety.
