432 E JEFFERSON ST opened a Property Maintenance Case for bed bug infestation

Wayside Christian Mission, owner of the shelter at 432 E Jefferson St, is the subject of an open property-maintenance/code-violation complaint alleging bedbug problems in the facility’s bunks. A guest reports the bunks are worn and exposed, found at least eight bugs by shining a phone light, says their luggage was infested and left bite marks (they provided photos), and notes the shelter lacks basic pest-prevention like mattress covers or storage for guests. The report has been filed so city inspectors can follow up.
