Owners Rogelio and Olga Garcia have an open property maintenance case for Unit 4 at 1415 Nightingale Rd. Tenants report a long list of problems — LG&E shut off the gas to the stove, the sink leaks into a bucket, cabinets and appliances were dirty when they moved in, there are holes in walls, missing baseboards and vent covers, a bathroom floor crack you could drop a penny through, missing doorknobs, slow-draining sinks with fruit flies, suspected mold, roaches despite promised monthly extermination, and bedroom electrical issues that trip breakers (residents are running an extension cord) plus a large gap around a pipe in the living-room closet.
