8103 Bohannon Station Rd cited for dead tree hazard

Shannon D. Bowles Living Trust has an open property-maintenance case for a roughly 20-foot dead tree at the corner of Bohannon Station Road and Black Iron Road on the property at 8103 Bohannon Station Rd. Neighbors say the owner cut off all the limbs last year — allegedly to make the tree look like an "eye store" for the neighborhood — and now the trunk is dead and starting to hollow out, which could be a hazard for people using the sidewalk. Metro was asked to remove it if the owner won’t, so expect follow-ups.
