2314 ROWAN ST opened Code Violation case for interior inspection due to odor

Owner Aden Afifa is the subject of an open property maintenance case after neighbors reported a persistent, foul odor coming from 2314 Rowan St. Animal control found a long-dead rat on the public walkway but callers say that wasn’t the source — windows are open, no one can enter the unit, and there are lots of birds hiding under the front flat roof. The city has the case open to inspect the interior and track down what’s causing the smell.
