Daniel A. Brown, the out-of-state owner, has an open property-maintenance case after neighbors reported illegal driving and parking in the grassy rear yard behind the five-unit building at 125 West Ormsby Ave. Cars are reportedly coming through an alley gate, driving over the sidewalk and parking on a small brick patio up against the house, and two photos were attached to the complaint. A neighbor who’s lived on the block since 1985 says they raised this with Mr. Brown months ago and that piled-up trash in the publicly accessible space is now creating tenant-safety and hazard concerns for this historic property, whose rear yard hasn’t been used for parking since the TNZD was enacted.
