1111 ORCHARD AVE issued for Mechanical Permit for new animal hospital

Best Mechanical Services (project lead Rob Allen) is installing the HVAC system for a new animal hospital at 1111 Orchard Ave for owner Kentucky Humane Society Animal Rescue — a big, climate-controlled setup for our furry patients. The commercial permit covers multiple rooftop units (RTUs) with VAV reheat boxes, new ductwork, chillers and boilers — about 18 pieces of equipment in all — with a project value estimated at $3,384,270, and ladder access will be provided for rooftop inspections. One catch: a certificate of occupancy won't be issued until the landscape installation is verified and certified by a Kentucky landscape architect.
