550 S 3RD ST Mechanical Permit issued for HVAC replacement

ACCO Inc. is handling an HVAC renovation at the LWC Headquarters owned by the City of Louisville, located at 550 South 3rd Street. The commercial replacement project (permit issued) will swap out the chiller, boiler, air-handler fans and chilled-water coils, and pumps, and upgrade the building automation—replacing VAV controllers and actuators and adding new controls for AHUs, chiller, boilers, VAVs and pumps—with equipment staged in the basement, levels 1–3 and on the roof. It’s a sizeable systems refresh with an estimated cost of $1.7 million and a maintained 200-ton capacity.
