930 Ormsby Ln: Commercial Foundation permit issued

Freedom Construction Services has pulled an at-risk foundation permit for a new church fellowship hall at 930 Ormsby Ln on behalf of the Greek Orthodox Church Of The Assumpt. The project is a 10,250 sq ft assembly building — 4,370 sq ft A-2 banquet hall and commercial kitchen plus a 5,889 sq ft A-3 shell for future offices and classrooms — in an unsprinklered structure with a two-hour masonry fire wall, and Phase 1 will have an occupant load of 217; the existing smaller fellowship hall on the site will be demolished and separate permits will be required for tenant fit-up and civil work.
