1176 Standiford Ave electrical permit issued for transfer switch and generator

Kenny Gardner of Gardner Electric is replacing the service‑entrance–rated transfer switch and swapping in a new backup generator at the Humana hanger building owned by the Regional Airport Authority of Louisville, located at 1176 Standiford Ave. The permit notes all existing wiring will remain in place and the work is tied to a 600‑amp electrical rewire with two subpanels. The project is estimated at $67,500, so the hanger should be ready to keep humming through any outages.
