550 W KENTUCKY ST building permit submitted for Ida Wells Historic Preservation

Overflow Service LLC is handling an Ida B. Wells historic preservation project at 550 W Kentucky St for Simmons College of Kentucky Inc., with an estimated project value of $200,000. Planned work includes exterior masonry repairs, termite treatment, interior finish repairs, window and door painting, capping a historic urinal with plumbing upgrades, and electrical system work—and because the building has individual landmark status, UD written approval is required before work moves forward.
