4002 Shepherdsville Rd Building Permit submitted for 875 SF restaurant remodel

La Tixqueña is planning a new restaurant inside the existing building at 4002 Shepherdsville Rd, with the property owned by Dylans Drywall & Finishing LLC and design work handled by Paul Downs Design. The 875-square-foot build-out will feature a 530-SF dining room for about 35 people, a 345-SF kitchen with a 12-foot hood over a 36" range and 18" deep fryer, and two bathrooms (one ADA compliant), with the project estimated at $30,000. The hood area will be rebuilt with metal stud construction and a 1-hour fire-rated gypsum, and much of the space uses existing tenant work so no new full walls are planned.
