12501 Shelbyville Rd building permit filed for Kroger commercial alteration

Kroger is giving its store at 12501 Shelbyville Rd a fresh look, with a commercial alteration that will refresh the sales floor and finishes, replace and relocate food-prep equipment and the floral sales/prep/cooler area, enlarge Murray’s Cheese kiosk, tweak the left-hand entrance vestibule and cart-return, and convert the former bank space into more sales area. The project—filed under owner BRE Retail Residual Owner 1 LLC with architect John Hughes of Capstone Project Services—covers about 5,162 sq ft and is estimated at $650,000.
