Construction Services of Kentuckiana is filing a commercial alteration to protect interior walls and columns from frequent forklift impacts at 7625 National Tpke, 100 for owner LIT Industrial Limited Partnership. The contractor adjusted new wall framing to sit flush with the outside face of the beam to regain a few inches of clearance—important because the block wall’s framing and drywall reduce clearance by about 4 inches—so forklifts are less likely to bonk the columns.
