3001 Northwestern Pkwy building permit filed for Verizon Wireless collocation

Verizon (VZW) has submitted a building permit for a new collocation on the tower at 3001 Northwestern Pkwy, on property owned by Norfolk Southern Railway Co. The project installs subsurface grounding, concrete pads and a prefabricated canopy, antennas, conduits, GPS and radio equipment, extended electrical service and outdoor overvoltage protectors, with an estimated cost of $15,000.
