9017 Taylorsville Rd Demolition permit to remove vacant building for Popeye's

Merrel Bierman Excavating Inc. has applied for a wrecking permit to remove the vacant commercial building at 9017 Taylorsville Road, owned by ACE Brands Holdings LLC, so a Popeye’s Restaurant can be installed. The record shows the 2-story, 2,597 sq. ft. building (about 55 years old) with an estimated project value of $10,000 and several required demolition items still pending — think site photos, utility sign-offs, and a demolition site plan. If those get cleared, that empty lot could soon be home to some new fried-chicken energy.
