10300 Ballardsville Rd building permit for addressable fire alarm system

Louisville Gas & Electric Co. is installing an addressable fire alarm system with manual, automatic, and evacuation functions at 10300 Ballardsville Rd for the LG&E Gas Rodeo building. The UL‑listed system, estimated at $6,000, will feature four zones, smoke detectors and manual pull stations, horn and visual alarms, a main-entry annunciator, central‑station monitoring (NFPA 72) and battery backup — basically a tidy safety upgrade to alert occupants and responders.
