Patel Brothers Grocery at 1850 S Hurstbourne Pkwy, Unit 134, is having a new fire alarm and detection system installed with sprinkler monitoring and annunciation — work being done by Pye Barker Fire & Safety, LLC for owner Hunnington Place LP. The NFPA 72–designed system (project value estimated at $17,850) will cover the 9,486 sq ft space with central-station supervision and battery backup, one zone, an annunciator in the entry vestibule, manual pulls, smoke detectors, tamper and water-flow devices, plus horns and visual alarms so staff and shoppers get clear alerts.
