911 S Brook St Building Permit for Fire Detection System Update

The Salvation Army (Georgia) is updating the fire-detection system as part of a men’s and women’s dorm renovation at 911 S Brook St. Michael Siskar of NewTech is the listed fire-detection contractor for the roughly 8,000-square-foot project, with the system (estimated at $1,325.54) including smoke and duct detectors, manual pulls, horns and visual alarms, two monitored zones, central-station supervision and battery backup — and because the building has individual landmark status, UD written approval is required before work moves forward.
