1022 CHEROKEE RD applied for PACM abatement and boiler work permit

Cherokee Road LLC is seeking an asbestos abatement permit at 1022 Cherokee Rd to remove presumed asbestos-containing materials (PACM) as part of replacing the boiler, water tank, and water heater and to strip PACM from piping throughout the basement. Cardinal Industrial Insulation Company will do the work using glovebags and containment—about 320 feet of pipe insulation plus smaller containment areas for the boiler, tank, and heater—with waste hauled by Republic Services to Outer Loop Landfill. The cleanup is scheduled for Aug. 24–Nov. 24, 2026, at the 1880-built, three-story, roughly 4,200 sq ft residence.
