10608 National Tpke asbestos abatement permit for Coral Ridge Elementary gym
Jefferson County Public Schools has applied for an asbestos abatement permit to remove floor tile and the associated adhesive mastic from the gym and a portion of the hallway at Coral Ridge Elementary, 10608 National Tpke. RH Environmental is the abatement contractor and the work is scheduled for May 26–July 31, 2026 using non‑friable removal (hand tools or electric floor scraper) with wet methods, HEPA vacuum cleanup, and polyethylene containment. About 5,764 sq ft of flooring (roughly 2.2 cubic yards of waste) will be sealed in labeled 6‑mil bags, placed in a lined dumpster, and taken to WM - Outer Loop Landfill; the project owner is Jefferson County School District Fin.
