114 N 26th St applied for emergency demolition permit

Louisville Metro has issued an emergency-order demolition at 114 N 26th St — a vacant, one-story former residence (about 1,380 sq ft) owned by Snyder Gregory A — with work scheduled to begin 01/16/2026. Because asbestos is involved, the permit allows RACM to remain in place during demolition and requires Aesthetic Industrial Contracting, Inc. to minimize disturbance, keep materials adequately wet, containerize and promptly dispose of debris (no tracked vehicles on demolition debris) and treat all demolition waste as regulated asbestos-containing material, with disposal planned at WM Outer Loop Landfill, so crews will be taking extra precautions.
