332 N 23RD ST Environmental permit for ACM abatement (demolition)

Louisville & Jefferson County Landbank Authority, Inc. has applied for an asbestos abatement permit to remove asbestos-containing materials so the building at 332 N 23rd St can be demolished. Cardinal Industrial Co., Inc. will perform wet-method removal of asbestos roof flashing from the entire roof of the vacant one-story former residence (built 1900, ~1,032 sq ft), with Republic Services hauling waste to WM Outer Loop Landfill; work is scheduled from 12/26/2025 to 03/26/2026.
