1359 CATALPA ST applied for asbestos permit for emergency demolition

Long Run Association of Baptists has an emergency order demolition slated for 1359 Catalpa St, a vacant three-story former residence (about 25,188 sq ft) built around 1900. Aesthetic Industrial Contracting will handle the asbestos-related work under an environmental permit that allows regulated asbestos-containing material to remain in place during demolition — crews must minimize disturbance, keep materials wet, containerize and promptly dispose of debris at WM Outer Loop Landfill, and avoid tracked vehicles; the project is scheduled for December 30, 2025 through January 30, 2026.
