340 N 27TH ST environmental permit for asbestos demolition

An Emergency Order Demolition has been filed by owner Lighthouse Estates LLC for the vacant, two-story former residence at 340 N 27th St, scheduled from 11/04/2025 to 12/04/2025. The asbestos permit notes friable asbestos covering about 1,630 sq ft may remain in place during demolition but requires Aesthetic Industrial Contracting, Inc. to minimize disturbance, keep materials adequately wet, containerize and promptly dispose of debris (no tracked vehicles on demolition debris), and treat all demolition material as Regulated Asbestos-Containing Material with disposal at WM Outer Loop Landfill. So, expect careful wetting and bagging onsite rather than a full-on wrecking blitz.
