3910 Vermont Ave Environmental Permit issued for emergency demolition

Louisville & Jefferson County Landbank has been issued an emergency order demolition permit to remove the vacant two-story former residence at 3910 Vermont Ave. The permit allows regulated asbestos-containing material (RACM) to remain in place during demolition as long as Aesthetic Industrial Contracting, Inc. minimizes disturbance, keeps materials adequately wet, containerizes and promptly disposes of debris at WM Outer Loop Landfill, avoids tracked vehicles on the rubble, and treats the entire 1,984 sq ft structure as friable ACM; work is scheduled for 10/23/2025–11/23/2025.
