Drivers say the bumpouts at N Floyd St & E Main St are tearing tires
The lane changes and concrete bumpouts at N Floyd St and E Main St are drawing grumbles already. One caller says the bumpout blends right into the sidewalk, makes the turn too tight, and is especially rough if somebody’s stopped at the crosswalk.
They also say the bumpouts need white or yellow reflective paint, or a redesign, because cars are losing tires on them.
