Neighbors want speed bumps on Washburn Ave near 825 Washburn Ave
Washburn Avenue at 825 is on somebody’s mind, and for good reason. A neighbor wants speed bumps or radar speed control between Wesport Road and New La Grange Road after saying drivers keep blowing past the 25 mph limit and recently hit their mailbox and a few others.
They say there’s no sidewalk on that side of the street, a school bus stop sits right across the way, and Warwick Park keeps the foot traffic steady. That’s one neighbor’s account, but it’s enough to make you slow down and think twice.
