Neighbors say squirrels are wrecking plants at 1120 Julia Ave

The squirrels around 1120 Julia Ave are causing quite the racket, or at least one neighbor says they are. They say the little critters have chewed up about $150 to $200 worth of plants and even a statue, with peanuts and shells tucked deep in the porch pots.

“They have destroyed $150-200 in plants and even a statue!” the resident said, and they’re worried about what happens when winter sends the squirrels looking for warmer places to hole up. Louisville Animal Services had this one marked closed the same day.
