13620 DIXIE HWY submitted for waiver to omit street-facing glass in C-1 zoning

A site-design waiver has been submitted for the Dixie and Watson Wawa at 13620 Dixie Hwy — applicant Bowman (Joseph Mackin) is asking to waive the rule that normally requires 50% of street-level walls and doors be glass on all street-facing facades. The 19.84-acre C-1 parcel owned by Charles B. Severs is listed as a gas-station commercial use, and if approved the change would let the developers build with less glazed frontage than current code requires.
