1105 Cecil Ave applied for a Certificate of Appropriateness

Applicant Regina Louise Porter of All My Assets has applied for a Certificate of Appropriateness to rebuild the gutted house at 1105 Cecil Ave, with a project cost of $200,000 in the Chickasaw Historic District. Plans call for exterior repairs from dormer to foundation (including sheathing, new siding, insulated windows, new roof and gutters), removal and capping of the chimney above the second floor, a right-side fence and rear wooden deck, plus interior changes with new insulation (R13 walls, R38 ceiling), new 2x4 wall framing and drywall, a new first-floor full bath and an enlarged second-floor bath, and all-new HVAC, water heater, electrical, plumbing and required smoke/CO detectors.
