Anchorage Middletown Fire and EMS is planning a new fire station at 14607 Old Taylorsville Rd — a roughly 16,000-square-foot building (listed as 16,694 sq ft) with apparatus bays and associated site work. The institutional/public-utility project sits on about 4.74 acres and names Shane Hesse of PrimeEng as the designer/contractor, so expect a purpose-built neighborhood station coming to the area.
